We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our US Service Department, focusing on installing and supporting our advanced chemical analysis equipment across the Northeast US. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from a home office when not traveling to customer sites in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts. You'll receive comprehensive training to ensure your success and will play a vital role in diagnosing issues, performing maintenance, and providing exceptional customer support. Are you the Field Service Engineer - NORTHEAst we're looking for?

To thrive as a Field Service Engineer at GERSTEL, Inc., candidates should possess a robust skill set and relevant experience. Proficiency in Gas Chromatography is essential, along with familiarity with Mass Spectrometry and Liquid Chromatography preferred. A background of 1-3 years in a service engineer role, particularly involving analytical instrumentation, will be advantageous.

MUST RESIDE IN: New Jersey (NJ), New York (NY), Connecticut (CT) or Massachusetts (MA)

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Required - Residence inside the continental United States required.
Required - US Citizenship
Required - Gas Chromatography experience
Required - Ability and willingness to travel extensively (up to 75%) and stay overnight.
Preferably 1-3 years of hands-on experience as a Service Engineer, especially involving analytical instrumentation.
Mass Spectrometry experience preferred.
Liquid Chromatography experience preferred.
Passion for helping customers and delivering exceptional customer support.
Proficiency in Analytical Chemistry principles.
